It was the *bravery* angle that both offended and amused me.
It's part of the left's brain washing agenda to suggest that they are victimized because of their beliefs and/or activism.

What actually happens is that many are so brain-washed from living in their echo chamber cocoon that they don't realize a large cross section of Americans does not share their radical POV. So when they infuse their *art* with their hyper-leftist POV, and the *art* fails to succeed as art, they paint themselves as brave victims. Of course, their *art* may well fail because of their message, in addition to the way it's presented, but even that doesn't necessarily make them *brave* and it certainly doesn't make them *victims.*

I think they actually believe that everyone agrees with their POV when they package the *art* product. When the movie flops, they need a scapegoat to explain it.

In the end, it's all about money anyway.
