The Japanese have decades of experience getting around restrictions on currency valuation. I doubt they will have any problem now.

You must remember sales costs may increase at one end, but other expenses decrease as their currency adjusts and can offset those costs.

Japanese carmakers are extremely nimble, unlike their American counterparts.
