What 'point' are you looking for?

It's simply an observation (a true one, IMO) that --- of our four major networks, FOX's format possibly leans the *heaviest* in the direction of 'Tits and Ass' Sensationalist Infotainment.

(T&A not exactly a hallmark of PBS, LOL! And, I believe that FOX currently holds the lead in accumulation of FCC fines in this matter.... :-)

One only has to look at Murdock's news properties around the globe to see that this format is certainly no accident. (It's no doubt extremely profitable to tilt programing toward cheap and low-brow, 'reality-style' and sensationalist-Infotainment style programing.)

Just look at his Aussie or Brit programing to see the path ahead for ours --- they simply got there a bit ahead of us.

(Not that I have anything against cleavage or bleached blondes per se... it's just that I don't confuse it with Huntley Brinkley. <G>)
