We are sitting ducks in the Straits Persion Sea according to an E-Mail I received.Here it is: John Having spent 4 deployments in the Arabian Gulf (2 on an FFG and 2 on an AEGIS Cruiser) PLUS being an Anti Ship Missile Defense Tactics Officer writing tactics to combat Anti Ship Cruise Missiles from countries all over the world…but specifically focusing on the Silkworm, Sunburn, CSS-3/4/5/6/7, Exocet I and II, SS-27 and its variants….. Now that I am retired I can say with certainty… We attack Iran and UNLESS we preemptively hit the Coastal Cruise Missile Defense sites all along the 600 mile coast line…. WERE GONNA GET SMOKED…WE”ll LOSE at least 1 Carrier battle group and at least 5-10,000 sailors at sea.
