I have to agree with you that David Walsh did the right thing in commissioning the FIA to investigate the fraud on behalf of Bre-X. IMO, every corporation would/should investigate if some crime was commited against it. The report has brought to light some important information.

I think any other CEO/board of directors would do the same, and if they didn't then it is possible to infer that they themselves wanted the firm to go under.

I would still like to reserve judgement until the RCMP report is made public.
