It is perfectly understandable why he wouldn't know much about protocol Surely, you jest. This guy has been in Illinois State politics for awhile and was educated in US schools. He is playing to his strong suit - the far left. This type behavior suggests to me that he would smile at the sight of a burning US flag. In our government there is a phrase which is often used to beat up managerial and executive types regarding some aspect of their performance while in federal service. The phrase ends with: ...not the least appearance of impropriety. Apparently, obama does not think that applies to him. BTW, if his handlers should be tutoring him on an issue as simple as this, he is without hope as a presidential candidate.
