Maybe I can make it clearer. I've been to Europe many times, however, one of the last times was in 1998 in Berlin. Because of the wall it was still a city of stark contrasts. The wall came down in 1989. Its a very different city now......very modern, very cool. I'd simply like to know when you were there to compare it to what I saw. Since you mentioned it, it would also be interesting to know when you were in Europe for six months. I was in Europe for six months in 1985 or 1986. However I have been there since then for shorter periods of time. Again, I don't think Europe is perfect; however, they have some things that I consider beneficial and would like to see introduced into this country. Europe is not our enemy.....its societies are closer to us than any other with the notable exception of AU and NZ.
