Perhaps you don't understand the difference between making a living via a 'salaried job' and totally off the markets. It's a BIT of a difference. Yep, FSLR is a high flyer, good for you. I can't beat a return like that over 6 months, but look at tech over the past 8 years. How many longs heavy into tech over the last 7 years have done very well? I'd say many have been crushed, never to recover. I was posting like mad to those smug Dellheads in 1999 that said 'Dell would own it all'. I'm still posting and they have all 'mysteriously vanished'. I remember a poster talking about Cisco becoming the first trillion dollar stock when the NASDAQ was soaring. Suffice it to say my cynical outlook has kept me in the game far longer than many... You don't have to explain anything to me, I pretty sure I've been trading the markets far longer than you have. You seem to have a thing about blasting trading, I never made a comment on trading vs investing to you, only that shorting is another tool in the arsenal. So what's your problem exactly??? By the way, if you move 30k shares of Cisco per day successfully for a 10 cent profit that's a $750,000 a year income no matter what the markets do. Just an example of what a decent trader can do...
