Only thing i don't like about Ron Paul is he's anti-mexicano, while being born and raised in the half of México currently occupied by the US of A ... there was a little piece the other day on CBC radio, on the last major surge of ethnic cleansing of brown people from Aztlán in the nineteen thirties, it had been going on for near a century of course but that was the last big push - if you were brown, you were out, period, didn't matter that you were born there and your great grandfather had been too ... one fellow interviewed was Ignacio Piña, haven't googled him up yet, but at six years of age he was deported from Montana, had no spanish at the time, just dumped across the border with his mother, they had documentation and birth certificates and all from Utah or another state, didn't matter ... i knew an old guy in BCS [quite near where pez.v is now] with a similar story, though he technically had been born just south of the border the many generations before him had been born north ... but he walked north and eventually became documentado in some 'amnesty', gets a pension cheque from working in movie studios, his son is a lawyer for famous movie stars, i forget which ones ... anyway this is some of the stuff that comes up when i see snotty short-sighted gringo bigots spouting about 'illegals' ... f. you man, brown is beautiful, oír un poquito del castellano no se va a matar |
