I am anxiously waiting tomorrow. As I think it could be a watershed. It looks like the stock markets are poised for a fall and gold and silver to rise. So what wlll happen to stocks? I really cannot figure this one out.

I remember 1987 pretty clearly. When the market dropped 500 points, gold rose to touch five hundred. Then, a day or two later, gold and gold stocks started to fall and ironically, the stock came back after the fed pumped in hugmongous amounts of liquidity and gold and gold stocks continued to fall?

I do not think this time is analagous because if the feds pump in liquidity, then the dollar should tank and gold should rise? But who knows-lol?

Stocks down and gold up. Two countervailing forces. So which one do gold stocks follow. Logic would say gold. Or maybe just gold producers, but not exploration and base metals stocks?

I am betting the Nikkei and asia are down hard tomorrow. But nothing would surprise.
