Greg - Re: "Explicit Parallelism"

I wish I could but I can't.

I would assume, however, that Intel and HP have addressed the speed issues of the new architecture by incorporating MANY smaller processors on one chip with the ability to explicitly divide the execution of instruction streams among the many processors simlutaneously (in parallel).

Nest week, Intel and HP should reveal more details of this at the Microprocessor Forum - where Jerry Sanders will tell us all about a New World Order in x86 computers - at the same time Intel and HP announce their new architecture. What timing!

Old Jerry invited himself to the party - but no one wants to dance with him!
