Mkel,
I am short on time at the moment but i would love to talk about other stocks with you in a day or so. As for your message, my understanding is that the merger is going along smoothly and should close sometime in December. If you firmly believe the deal is a definite, then you should buy now, hold until conversion, and make upwards of 7% in a two month span. I think the deal will be finalized and this is a great investment. HOWEVER.........if something was to occur and the deal fell through, you would risk that the stock would fall from the 4 1/8-4 1/4 range back toward the $3.50 range. THAT IS WHY THE SHARES WILL NOT TRADE AT THE $4.50 RANGE UNTIL WORD GETS OUT IT IS A DONE DEAL. As we get closer to the final days, these shares should begin to ratchet higher toward the acquisition price of $4.50, such as what occurs in options trading.
