GULF PRODUCTION MONITOR: November 12, 2007
bentekenergy.com

The restoration of production on Shell's Mars Platform, which flows into Mississippi Canyon Pipeline in the federal offshore, has helped bump total Gulf production back up to October levels of 11.5 Bcf/d. Shell told Bentek on Friday that the platform was shut in for repairs last week and that high loop currents were preventing quick restoration of service. After dropping to about 215,000 Dth/d last week, Mississippi Canyon is back up to about 446,000 Dth/d. Independence production has averaged 860,000 Dth/d for the last four days.
