I think you defined your feelings and traditions very well. I wasn't taught to put my hand over my heart when I heard the National Anthem. I saw grown ups around me do it, and I knew it was expected. Mind you............they were all born on and grew up on United States of America soil during WW2. Some even served during that war. I don't think Obomba was raised by people that were particularly America centric. But these were my people........they were his. That doesn't mean either one of us is handicapped. I guess we'll see just how much of a village we really are next year?
