The youngsters were misguided that tech was the future. Indians and Chinese do the work for a fraction. And they are churning graduates by the bus load. Bananas? Raising chickens? You can't farm that out! There's where the moolah will be! You need the weather, you need the right land, you need the technology to develop chickens you need people with a traditon in animal husbandry... All the components are there. Now the people who need that food has just happened to have money to buy...
