The point is that at these levels retail investors can't short for two reasons :

1. There is no shares to borrow and thats why Interactive Brokeres, Schwab and E-trade are begging for shares in order to loan theme to shorts.
2. The stock is under 5$ so retail shorts can't establish a new position only close the existing one.
3. If you are taking a loss right now just add to your position to average down and you will be very happy in 2 weeks and after that...
