I applaud both your courage and your action. I'm trying now to take the last of my royalty stocks' certs. I asked for them on Oct 29. By Monday, the 11, they still hadn't been subtracted from my portfolio balance. I called Compliance and Reorg department...pinned'em to the wall...and they admitted in writing via eMail on the 12th, they had not sent the order to the transfer agent. Damn SOBs!!! This is supposed to be PollyAnna America, right? *N O T !!!!* Can you imagine when the entire investing theatre tries to get out of the same door? Can you say the word No Can Do? I found sobering language in my account agreement. Twas enuf for me to see what was coming as the result of these worthless CDOs and SIVs, and credit card defaults, etc. G_T
