Capitulation volume on that price action was screaming b.k. until yesterday ... three or four big sellers apparently, then they appeared to be out of shares ... several motivations possible, one i was thinking was just like this -
'Makes me wonder if a potential JV or financing partner may have been shorting the stock to try to drive the price down to get a better deal worked out.'
Exactly - cui bono ... RCF got Geomaque for next to nothing years ago, very similar situation, although a more marginal mine in a weaker metals market
Can't see how they're out of cash quite yet, should have enough to make year-end, judging by treasury position and burn rates quoted in recent releases ... this may be all the time they have if the cold slows down leaching enough ... exciting times
Not for widows and orphans this one, but think i'll add a few more, it's definitely a multi-bagger from here if things work out half-right ... even Geomaque did a triple or four-bagger after RCF made their score, i sold early on small profit, disgusted by the whole affair, more ready for the gritty reality this time around, and better understanding the after-effects [one hopes, lol] ... cheers |
