Never thought too much of that movie, it always struck me as a vile piece of anti-Southern propaganda. I attended this event - and I'm a yankee. :) I'm 99% sure that's me in the light brown leather coat and dark brown leather hat on the left side of the screen at 2:24. I was there mostly to observe, I brought my camera and got some great shots. There was a lot of media there and a counter demonstration. I fancied myself as quite the photojournalist that day.

Picked up a few cassettes from a vendor, the best one is called Songs From the Celtic South by the 12th Louisiana String Band and Benevolence Society. (try getting THAT on CD) Great songs, best version of Rosin the Beau I've ever heard. :)
