Martin: Thank you for your enthusiastic support of our product. The Beta Test at your site went exceedingly well, thanks to the tremendous involvement by your receptionist. She was so kind to show us the computer room door. After that, our product did it all by itself.
I have to admit, though, that we did have a little problem with a field named "Semantha". But, after your receptionist told us that "Semantha" was actually a date field, and was named after your CIO's ... uh .... well, never mind what she said. After we found out "Semantha" was actually a date field, all further calculations, computations, and conversions went smoothly. As I recall, we converted 270 million programs and 927 billion lines of code in the first 5 minutes. Then, after we got warmed up, we really went to town (I think it was Pittsburgh).
Incidentally, we're having a little trouble cashing the check you sent us. It seems that our bank never encountered a check with more than 7 digits left of the decimal point. Would you please notify your accounting department to reissue our payment in 10 different checks? That should cure the problem.
By the way, all Beta customers are included in FBN's offer to get in early on our IPO. Please contact Norm, our VP of Investor Relations. She'll be happy to deliver a special package to you.
Thanks again for your business. We really appreciate it.
