Normally I am sympathetic to the authorities who are often damned if they do and damned if they don't.

After watching the entire video, I didn't see any beahvior in this case that warranted a taser shot. There were some noticeable gaps in the video, which is regrettable. If the man pulled a knife or tried to kill someone in those gaps, then my response would be different.

It seems to me the man should have been handled by the people who were at the gate when his behavior became aggressive, rather than calling in a SWAT team like that.

Tasers are supposed to be a non-lethal alternative to firearms, but it looks to me like they should be employed with the same rules of engagement as a firearm.

In other words, don't tase anyone you wouldn't shoot if you didn't have the taser.
