The one thing that seems to defeat colds and the flu is vitamin D3. 2000 IU a day. British studies in 2006 found that fewer people got colds who took the vitamin.

As well 'they' found out why people get more colds in cold weather. The viruses that live in one's nose (rhino v.) are made stronger when the nose is cold. This is because warm blood flows more freely in the nose, and supplies white blood cells that fight infection.

So a bottle of vitamin D3 pills, a surgical mask, and an electic nose warmer is what the Dr. ordered. Avoid crowds and wash your hands after touching any public surface or any other person's hands.

One of these days I am going to meet someone and they will introduce themselves as "they" or possibly "them". Send me all your questions I will see if I can get answers.
