WARRINGTON, Pa. (AP) -- Biotechnology company Discovery Laboratories Inc. said Friday the Food and Drug Administration will review the company's response to its request for more information on Surfaxin.
In April of 2006, the FDA asked for more information on drug to consider it for approval. It is aimed at preventing respiratory distress syndrome in premature infants. The FDA established May 1 as its target date to complete its review of the drug candidate.
