"but he's an isolationist"

No, he's NOT.

That's false.

He's a "non-interventionist" (as our founding Fathers were, and advised us to be...), NOT an "isolationist"

Isolationists are NOT for free trade with every nation on Earth, diplomatic relations with everyone, and full engagement with the world.

That's the very opposite of an isolationist.

Hell, Bush comes out as more of an ISOLATIONIST (trade restrictions against dozens of countries, refusal to talk with countries he doesn't like, etc., etc.) then Dr. Paul does!

Nope... he's a non-interventionist (not getting the country mucked up in the internal affairs of other countries and peoples, not asking the taxpayers to foot the bill for maintaining a global military empire, etc.)

VERY DIFFERENT THINGS.
