IVD is a division of IVAX, which at one time was among Florida's largest pharmaceutical firms, until it was acquired by Teva Pharmaceutical for $7.4 B in 2005.(Dr. Phillip Frost had built the company form the original Key Pharmaceutical, which he started in 1972 with $100Ks.<g>)
IVD is still trading around 0.5xBV & although there are 27.6M shrs out, the float is < 7M, since Teva through Ivax controls > 70% of the shrs.<g>
IVD reported a net loss of $7,841,000 for the 3rdQ, but there were non-cash charges totaling $7,526,000 As of Sep 30, IVD had 25,255,467 of total assets & 5,539,549 of total liabilities. It seems the stock has a chance of getting back to the $1 or even the $2 level.<g>
