Colleagues: Two stocks to watch: CREE which is in the middle of a major breakout. People who do TA on this one say it formed an ascending triangle and has now broken out to the upside. It is at 23 3/4 and has been as high as 45, so may have some distance to go. PIR (Pier 1) has released a statement by the CEO which is as positive as I have ever seen from a person in a position of authority regarding future sales. He claims all indicators are green for an extremely strong Christmas season. Last year this stock went up 50% between Nov. 1 and Jan. 1. Disclosure: I have long positions in both of these stocks.
