If that was what happened Arun, I would think it a reasonable idea. But the existing UN is not anything I'd like to have ruling my life. AFTER the NUN is formed, it might make sense for the USA to empower it like that. But even then, it might not. I have never advocated handing over control of everything, or much of anything, to a swarm of kleptocrats running a NUN. People leap to the conclusion that a NUN would be like a USSR Kremlin on steroids. My thinking is the opposite. Mqurice
