You just like Ted are confused and mix up the issues of hiking taxes and optimizing tax revenue intakes. While I could agree with both of you, that maximizing tax revenues would be good to pay back the debt - if any - resulting from the wars, in my opinion that doesn't necessarily mean hiking the taxes. In particular I doubt it's a sure thing that hiking the taxes for the 1% taxable income fractile currently carrying 40% of the total tax load of our nation. Taro
