I would like to comment that my observations cause me to believe that whoever the market makers for this stock, they certainly are greedy <blank>s. Today TRKN had a major disaster, and the volume was about a million shares, yet the price range was always narrow, frequently 6 bid, 6 1/32 ask, and didn't fluctuate much at all. Contrast that with SPCT over the last several days where a market order for 5000 shares seems to move the market a half point one way or the other, where the spread sometimes was a 3/4 point or more, and where you wouldn't dare enter a stop loss. How often do you get a quote to find the bid at 46 the ask at 46 1/2, then moments later the bid and ask are the same, yet mysteriously the last trade was a 45 1/2. How did the bid-ask slip down for a split second and pick off the stop loss order? You be the judge. Or if you have the guts to put in a market buy, don't be surprised to find that the ask price mysteriously slips up a quarter point just for your order, before returning to its previous place.
I am sure glad I don't try to day trade. With market makers like these you'd get killed. Anybody else agree?
Good luck,
