I only wish I was half the parent to my kids that mine were (in the ways they were good examples). I hope that their weaknesses are ones that I can provide better examples for.

My father was a great father but lacks enthusiasm for a role as grandfather. My mother was a great example for her children in many ways but only was able to live to see my sister's kids. Life is full of twists and turns. As sad as some things are, I would not have life any other way.
