Although the IRS did not initiate a formal audit of Mrs. Prudhomme, the tax agency has demanded expense forms pertaining to her daughter's schooling in 1998.
"My taxes are far too simple for them to audit me," she told The Washington Times. "So they said I owe them $1,500 if I don't come up with these forms from my child's school that I sent in two years ago and that they must have lost.
