Unfortunately i didnt buy rtrsy in single digit although I didnt believe it would go bankrupt at that time it just didnt seem like a great value. My anecdotal experience has been that the debt market is much better at assessing bankruptcy risk than the stock market, so a debt yield of 40% to maturity is not promising. I dont know enough about spf to say that i think its a good or bad bet here. I just have more confidence in something like CCRT win or lose. Again andecdotally , i see lots of houses for sale here but not that many bargains. people seem to be lowering prices gradually and inventory of houses for sale just keeps going up so where I am it looks like far from a bottom. In my area I only know of one property that has been foreclosed upon so far.
