You know i agree with you on the corrupt government point you make but you know as well as i that correcting those things is (1) easier said than done and (2) would be viewed as just another form of US imperialism if the US intervened.
Sure we have long term goals for democratization that should be honored but we also have immediate survival needs as a nation that must be met as well. Issues arent as easy to solve as those on left make it out to be (you included) and arent written in black and white as some conservatives maintain. Its all very difficult but i refuse to risk this nations survival on ignoring al quaeda while trying to force musharif out to somehow bring democracy to pakistan. And by the way, when we went after iraqi dictator with force you were against it, so i assume you are not willing to use force on either terrorists or the dictators.
