I obtained an information package from Lightpath, which included a videotape. There was not a lot of technical info, so I dug through a couple of their patents. The Gradium technology is pretty neat stuff. Other companies make gradient lenses, but I got the impression that Lightpath's technology appears to be the best for the price. One thing that bothers me about the company is that it is hesitant about giving up more ownership in order to raise capital for its new projects. Yet, it forms the LightChip venture in which it has only a 51% stake. Hopefully, the other 49% brings a lot to the table. With so much R&D in the WDM field, time is of the essence. Unfortunately, I found almost nothing on LightPath's WDM technology. Does anyone know how it is supposed to work? Thanks, BillyG
