Well, I was going to keep out of the Keith Richards contest, but I couldn't resist.

An article in the New York Daily News reported on a tiff which started when Richards made a crack about Elton John's "Candle in the Wind" song, originally written in honor of Marilyn Monroe and then modified for Princess Diana. After Diana's funeral Richard's suggested John's claim to fame was "writing songs for dead blondes."

John later lashed out at Richards in an interview saying he had nothing against the Stones except that they should have booted Richards years ago. "Its so pathetic, poor thing. Its like a monkey with arthritis trying to go on stage and look young."

Hey, a mouse just ran right by my feet. Guess he doesn't like the smell of that cold weather coming in the mountains. Time to put a little cheese in the old mouse trap...
