the reaction was very condescending.

When this broke in the 80's we had an enormous push from the left to make it a non-gay disease. The red ribbons at all TV events became a real turn off.

AIDS has become, like racial discrimination, a subject where you are not allowed to mention that "the Emperor has no clothes." When I got ticked off and said what I thought, I became a "knuckle dragger."

This PC works very well for the left.
