Perkovich and the Polka Massters had the experience of a lifetime, celebrating the Polka Mass on the high altar of St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican for Pope John Paul II. The Pope commended and encouraged Fr. Perkovich in his endeavors with the Polka Mass and was pleased to accept a recording of the Mass. Must have driven Benedict up the wall.
