Z, where's the sense of personal responsibility? You keep telling those black kids that they're getting a bum deal, that they're victims of a system that continues to discriminate against non-white people, and what are you going to get? More of the same. The lead attacker in the Jena 6 has a criminal record already. Four convictions and he's not even 20 years old. I don't think I even got that many speeding tickets by the time I reached 20. You think he's going to change his ways if only you give him a chance? Maybe give him admission to an Ivy League university via affirmative action? Give him a free ride, money to spend, and a guaranteed job in whatever career he chooses by the time he's out? Give me a break. If you want to focus on that noose, fine by me. Get the white kid convicted on a hate speech charge and see if that doesn't run smack into the 1st amendment. You want to focus on how the black kids didn't get fair trials? Seems to me that their charges were already reduced before the Jena protests began. What do YOU want to focus on? Tenchusatsu
