A full 35% ('06) and still rising part of the total income taxes are paid by the 1% top bracket incomes! Those are the bad guys, those who earn more than approx. $350,000 annually but do not pay enough taxes and thus should be taxed even higher according to Ted and his friends. To be paying 34% of the tax burden these guys have to be worth a hell of lot more than their income of $350K suggests. How much do you want to bet they have a hell of lot more income than $350k before their accountants and attorneys go to work?
