Hi Sam, re: "I wonder why Biden doesn't poll better? Is it because he is just unknown except among those of us who are news junkies? I wish I knew. Maybe it's because he's a little off from a social point of view. His face screws up into odd looks at times and he's likely to laugh when there's nothing to laugh at. Or maybe it's because he doesn't have a compelling personal story to capture the imagination of our nation of tv viewers. In fact, ask anyone about his personal life and I think you'll find they'll think he doesn't have one. (Me included.) Whatever the reason, he's not catching fire and he's well aware of that fact. I think he's setting himself up to be a stronger national voice after this election, or maybe to be Obama's VP choice. What do you think? Ed
