Wow, what a week!!! Randy Moss and the Pats DST saved the day. I won last week 112-95. Things looked grim until the night game with the Patriots as, all of my players that had played during the day had single digit pts. Monday nights players boosted me over the top to secure the win. That win secured my playoff spot. If I win this week, and the 2nd place team loses, then I'll leap frog him and finish 2nd, going into the playoffs. This would be great since, the top 2 teams have a bye the 1st week.

My starting lineup for last week...

Ben Roethlisberger: He got sacked a lot, probably contributed to his poor performance. I think this week he'll snap out of the funk facing Mia.

Frank Gore: SF their offense is in a serious funk, I'm not sure if I want to start him. I keep saying to myself, maybe this is the week.

Laurence Maroney: 7 carries, cmon, good thing he scored a TD, otherwise, he would of given me 1 whole pts.

Brandon Marshall: He had a solid performance. The stuff that he did with and without the ball, no wonder he is playing.

Randy Moss: Studly...Brady and him are going to set records this season. He is Brady's 1st option no doubt, come clutch time.

Kevin Walter: I was disappointed by his numbers. I thought he would be able to put up better numbers. Maybe this week will be better against the Cle, especially since their starting CB is out.

Dallas Clark: I was surprised he only gave me 1 pt. I know it was his 1st game back, but still. This week, I'm hoping will be better.

Rob Bironas: 2 FGs and 2 XP...That 56 yd FG was great.

Patriots DST: They were able to stifle, the Buf offense. I'm thinking Mia is in trouble as well this week.

My Bench...

Justin Fargas: He had a so so game, but considering he was up against Min run def, I think he did well.

Travis Henry: He was on the bench, since his knee was hurt. He'll be on my bench this next week as well.

Selvin Young: He looked decent, until he got hurt. They say it isn't serious, and he'll play. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Deion Branch: I sat him, since it was his 1st week back, I wasn't sure how he would perform. He needs to do better. I'm thinking, maybe I'll start him this week, since he already had a game back.

Ronald Curry: Was last week a fluke? The Oak passing game is too inconsistent for me to start him. I'll probably hold onto him for another week...we shall see though I may drop him.

Javon Walker: He was inactive. They're saying he might play this week. We shall see. I'll probably let him play 1 game before I start him, unless I'm in a crunch.

I thought about dropping Curry for Nate Washington. Santonio Holmes is out for a few weeks. Washington is the deep threat, who will replace him. A couple weeks ago he looked good. Worth keeping an eye on, and maybe even give him a roster spot since I can get double pts from him and Big Ben.

Best of Luck,

SS
