Well, I don't totally agree. Yes, our elected officials in both parties have feet of clay, but why should we accept less than honesty from them on issues that have nothing to do with National Security?

Armitidge has said on the record that he screwed up big time in discussing Plame with a reporter. Rove and Scooter didn't just make a mistake, they were moving on an agenda. Then poor old McClellan was hung out to dry....which is too bad for him.

Now, looking ahead...I am interested if Rudy had been briefed on Kerik's mob ties. I think it is darn important to know what he knew, and how he selects the people to be around him.

I think it is important to know some of the secrect Clinton history and plans. If you don't get it now, you never will if she is elected.

I am not an "ends justifies the means" kind of guy. that slope is too slippery and pretty soone everything justified the end.

And my final test......If Bill Clinton was President and the exact same thing had happened with Valerie Plame, and Stephanopolous and Begala were the "leakers", I just know the republicans would have come completely unglued...period.
