Ah. Now you are asking the right questions. Under $100K is
covered by FDIC, anything over goes poof. The
whole thing is not pleasant.

P.S. I had an account with NetBank, but luckily nothing
on it.

Now you can see why I have done what I've done, and I think
if more folks will start doing just that, the market will BK.
I think FDIC will have their hands busy, and the whole
enchilada will likely lead to a widespread use of the printing
press
