A lot of names look juicy BUT their charts have not shown bottoms AND the market has not shown us a bottom. The NASDAQ is only off about 10% but over time it has been common for it to correct by around 20%.

I don't follow it but there was a DOW theory sell signal today. I think waiting is prudent perhaps with a hedge with the QID (NASDAQ QQQ double short ETF)... but it may be way too late for that.... Obviously if the NASDAQ was going to correct by 20% it would be nice to double short it. Could also do kind of a straddle strategy with both the QLD (NASDAQ double long QQQ ETF) and the QID. I like the ETFs rather than index options because there is no time penalty to hold them as long as you want.

I think a lot depends on Fed policy going forward, the market semms to be discounting a recession.
