I find it fascinating their reaction whenever there is a discussion about another economic system, particularly if that system has a socialist overlay. If capitalism is the unmitigated success they believe it to be, why so much fear and anger and aggressiveness? The thing is they are 'purists'. They are so tied up in their ideology they can accept the slightest chink in the armour. The rest of us normal people try to find the best solution. If one thing works better than another, then that's great. If not, try another... Capitalism/collectivism, who cares? Just solve the problem.
