So Reagan signed the Voting Rights Act extension but was a racist anyway. But liberal Democrat Jimmy Carter wasn't a racist despite supporting ethnic purity in neighborhoods.

Who said Carter is not a racist. The statement that is alleged he made suggests he was a racist. But he didn't try to prevent blacks from getting ahead as it appears Reagan did.

Let's see - it goes like this: conservative = racist; liberal = not racist. No matter what the conservative and liberal does.

Most people are racist to one degree or another.....however, you want your leaders to be as hte least racist as possible, and if not in mind, in practice. As for the GOP = racist......why did the Dixiecrat Dems jump to the GOP when the Dems came out in support of civil rights? And there is little reason to believe that not much has changed in the GOP over the past 50 years.
