John, two things, no three things:

a) If you know much or anything about the credit insurers biz, could you do a piece on it? Is this the next area to be hit? I do not know much if anything about it. We seem to be in uncharted waters here to me, totally. What is being affected is all the behind the scenes stuff that we rarely if ever pay any attention to, and it appears a dominoe effect could be in motion. If it continues demand in many consumer and industrial sectors is likely to plummet.

b) Have you or anyone recently heard of 'anyone' getting the run around on CD or money market fund redemptions? Like they need to file papers or do this or do that ... in short being put off or delayed by the institution holding their funds, which in turn is trying to hold onto funds to chase or hide huge losses in other funds. You know, the musical chairs drill.

c) Assuming we have a serious problem still developing that no one really has a handle on, what is the relative degree of safety in funds at the brokerage firms most of us typically use? I can guarantee you, I have no funds at the moment in money market funds.

Happy Turkey Day!
