OK, so intel purchased 500,000 shares of WAVO at $8 for $4million as part of a collaborative agreement utilizing WAVOs VBI decoder technology in Intels Intercast product. This sounds to me that $4 million is all that WAVO will ever receive from Intel......Intercast is now on its own........competing with Wavephores new product Wavetop.............correct????? It seems that its not so much of an "investment" for Intel but a purchase of WAVOs tech????? Will WAVO receive future royalties????? So at what speed is Wavetop going to be delievered at......... TVT 1/4 transmits data at 38.4kbs.....with VBI it transmits at 500,000 bps will it be using a combined bandwith of VBI and TVT 1/4??????? Can this bandwidth be expanded???????? What are the differences between Air Media (the little pyramid news catching device sold at stores) and Wavephore??? How can Wavo, in there 96 annual report, state "while there will ultimatelly be room in this consumer space for severeal [tv/pc applications], we believe being first to the market this fall will be a signifacant competive advantage that should not be underestimated in terms of creating brand awareness and customer loyalty"..... They aren't first to market at all....webtv and others are already out there. People seem to forget that Wavetop is only portion of WAVO------their real money is being made in there Network Division Anyone know if WAVO Newscast Intranet Gold was launched this Summer??????????? What happened to exercise of the warrants.....i thought that was to occur 9/23/97??????? How much cash and long term debt do they have?? What is the consensus EPS this quarter? To be announced ????? i know lots o questions thx to all gg
