Elmer - Congratulations - Your DEC call was dead on! Yes, Dec is commited to "support" the Alpha - LIFE SUPPORT! This looks like DAMAGE CONTROL in action. If Alpha customers get worried about their investments, they will NOT BE MAKING NEW investments in last year's technology. DEC's order rate will drop, sales will drop and Robert Palmer will "retire" in victory. If DEC's stock rises on the settlement rumors/facts, it may become a sitting duck (for shorts)! Paul
