Again, why does manu. employment drop faster under GOP presidencies? In general, the economics under GOP presidencies tend to be not as good as under Dem presidencies. While I am making a partisan issue, it also speaks to the whole notion of tax cuts for corporations and private citizens promoted by the GOP. If tax cuts were so good, why doesn't the economic statistics reflect that premise?

Topcat answered the question well.

I'm not making a partisan point, I'm not arguing over when the productivity improvements happen. But the point is 1 - That they do happen, and 2 - That this is a good thing. Such improvements are what enables greater wealth for future generations.
